UFCU has a long and rich history spanning some 70 years. On October 1, 2006 UFCU, headquartered in Buchanan, MI, joined First Resource Federal Credit Union in St. Joseph, MI, to form the new UFCU, currently based in St. Joseph, MI. The credit union has grown to serve over 73,000 members located worldwide and manages in excess of $730 million in assets.
